Dan Carter brings the DC10 Fund to life at the Super Rugby Pacific, Super Round.

On Sunday 26th April 2026, UNICEF Aotearoa Ambassador and Rugby legend Dan Carter will take centre stage at Christchurch’s One New Zealand Stadium during the Super Rugby Pacific, Super Round. Dan will lead an exciting on-field activation with the DC10 Fund for UNICEF Aotearoa, giving fans the chance to make a real difference for children in the Pacific.

During the first half-time, Dan Carter will be joined by popular social media personalities Torrell Tafa, known for his comedic Tik Tok skits, and Dan Rankin, a fan-favourite known as “Man Can Cook”, along with New Zealand rugby star, Charmaine Smith for the Every Drop Challenge. Together, they’ll aim to kick 25 rugby balls over inflatable posts into a giant bucket. Each successful kick unlocks a $1,000 donation towards the DC10 Fund and helps UNICEF Aotearoa deliver clean water to children across the Pacific.

In the second half-time, fans attending the game will get the chance to step up themselves, taking part in the challenge and attempting their own kicks to contribute to the cause. Visit the UNICEF tent at the One New Zealand stadium on 26th April to see how you could be part of this epic challenge!

Fans attending the Super Round Live Site at the Terrace in Christchurch between Thursday to Saturday will also have the opportunity to win the chance to join the challenge. It could be you! Keen to support the DC10 Fund but won't be at the game? Donate online here.

A new WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) facility was handed over to Taiti Primary School in Marakei, Kiribati—marking the first DC10 Fund–supported site in the country. MFAT, the DC10 Fund, and UNICEF worked with the Ministry of Education to deliver improved sanitation blocks and a water tank for students.
“Clean water is something many people take for granted. This support is really changing these children’s lives and giving them a better future,” says Dan Carter.

The DC10 Fund for UNICEF Aotearoa focuses on improving access to safe, clean water for children across Pacific Island communities. Around one in ten children in the region lack access to clean water, increasing the risk of preventable diseases, and limiting opportunities for children to learn and play safely. Funds raised through this activation support climate-resilient, locally maintained water projects, empowering remote communities in the Pacific to thrive.

“This has always been about helping to bring clean water and sanitation to kids in the Pacific; lifesaving and life-changing stuff, says Dan. The building blocks for children to reach their dreams."

Fans attending Sunday’s matches can join the action on the field or follow along from home. Donate now to the DC10 Fund in support of UNICEF Aotearoa and help bring clean water to kids in the Pacific. Every donation will be doubled (up to 15K).
