At least 300 children have been reportedly killed in Gaza in the 300 days since a ceasefire was announced in October 2025. This amounts to an average of one child every day, despite an agreement for the suspension of military operations and the full entry of humanitarian aid and relief almost 10 months ago.

"Over the past several days, children have again been killed and injured in attacks in the Russian Federation and across Ukraine. “In the Russian Federation, there are reports of  a 13-year-old girl killed and two girls, aged seven and nine, injured when a drone struck near a playground in Belgorod region on Sunday. Three children were reportedly among seven people killed in an attack in Krasnodar region yesterday, which injured around 40 others.

Drone attack on Sudan market kills and injures children

A drone attack on a market in Ar Rahad, North Kordofan, yesterday, reportedly killed at least two children and injured six others, aged between six and 14. This latest attack is a stark reminder of the deadly toll the conflict continues to have on children across Sudan. Markets are places where families gather to buy food, earn a living and meet basic needs. They should never become places of death and devastation.

"UNICEF is deeply saddened by reports of two children killed and at least 50 more injured in attacks across Ukraine in the last week. “On 19 July, a UNICEF-contracted warehouse in Bilohorodka was severely damaged following attacks by the Russian Armed Forces, destroying humanitarian supplies for children and families affected by the war in Ukraine."
