What's happening in the Middle East?
Since 28th February 2026, more than 4,000 children have been reportedly killed or injured in the violence, and millions more displaced from their homes, with this figure growing by the hour. The services and infrastructure that children and families rely on, including hospitals, schools, and water and sanitation systems, have been disrupted, damaged and destroyed - leaving the most vulnerable at even greater risk.
UNICEF delivers life-saving aid across the Middle East in under 48 hours. Using 300+ warehouses and 'last-mile' logistics—including camels and Rapid Response Teams—we reach children in the most isolated conflict zones with water, medicine, and nutrition. Your support makes this possible.
Stand with children in crisis; please donate today to help UNICEF deliver immediate, life-saving relief.

Middle East Crisis - FAQs
The Funding Gap
UNICEF is 100% funded by voluntary donations from people like you.
Currently, we face critical funding gaps: For 2026, only 1.4% of Gaza’s needs and 16% of Lebanon’s requirements have been met. At the end of 2025, the funding gap for our work in Yemen and Syria was 63%.
As Governments budgets freeze, your gift becomes the only lifeline for millions of children in the Middle East. Help us close the gap by donating today.
