Where does your money go?
Our commitment to transparency
Every donation you make helps UNICEF reach children before, during and after emergencies with the essentials they need to survive, learn and thrive.
We know your trust matters. That’s why behind every contribution is a promise to use it wisely. In 2025, 91 cents of every dollar UNICEF spent globally went directly to programmes and development effectiveness that deliver results for children. From oversight here in Aotearoa New Zealand to life-saving support on the ground, we're accountable for every dollar entrusted to us.
Your impact in Aotearoa and beyond

For generations, New Zealanders have stood up for children facing poverty, conflict, disasters and other crises.
As part of the global UNICEF family, UNICEF Aotearoa helps advance children's rights and wellbeing in Aotearoa, across the Pacific and around the world. UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories and vaccinates approximately 400 million children against preventable diseases each year, while UNICEF Aotearoa advocates for children locally and helps connect New Zealanders to this global impact.
Your support helps provide clean water, nutrition, healthcare, education and emergency assistance to children and families when they need it most.
Through UNICEF's global network, resources can be mobilised quickly and directed to where needs are greatest, helping reach children before, during and after emergencies. Together, Kiwi supporters are helping create a safer, healthier and more hopeful future for children around the world.
