How a UNICEF warehouse in Copenhagen creates brighter futures in Sudan.

How is hope delivered?

After 1000 days of conflict in Sudan, hope is needed now more than ever. The crisis in Sudan has pushed millions of children to the brink of survival. In 2026, 33.7 million people, half of them children, are expected to need urgent humanitarian assistance. UNICEF supplies are essential to protecting children’s rights and supporting their future. Despite the conflict, UNICEF continues to deliver essential supplies and hope to these children.

At the heart of this work is the global supply hub in Copenhagen. The world’s largest semi-automated humanitarian warehouse. This is how UNICEF ensures life-saving aid reaches children wherever it’s needed. UNICEF continues to deliver vaccines, medicines and critical supplies despite immense challenges - thanks to our world leading supply chain.

See how your donations make it from our Copenhagen warehouse to the children of Sudan.

We’re committed to transparency. To see how we split up expenses and manage our costs, read our annual report or visit UNICEF Open to see a live overview of all our projects.
