Children in the Pacific
DC10 will raise funds to deliver life-changing, disaster resilient water and sanitation projects in the Pacific. Approximately 134,000 children, 830 schools and 38 healthcare facilities in the Pacific will benefit and the projects will help strengthen long term resilience in these communities.
Children in Aotearoa
Thanks to funds raised by the DC10 Fund corporate partners, UNICEF Aotearoa New Zealand will develop a range of teaching resources and toolkits, which will be rolled out in early childhood centres, primary and secondary schools. UNICEF Aotearoa New Zealand aims to reach over 300,000 children, teachers and parents, plus 500 schools.
Tonga Tsunami Appeal
Communities in Tonga were devastated after a volcanic eruption in January. Dan helped to secure over $500,000 from financial services company Jefferies to support the education system and ensure children can continue learning.
Kickathon: 7-8 April 2022
To launch the DC10 fund and serve as the inaugural fundraising project, Dan hosted a 24-hour 'Kickathon' on 7-8 April 2022. He pushed himself to the limit, kicking goals for 24 hours straight to raise money for UNICEF’s work providing access to essential clean water and sanitation for kids in the Pacific.
