Liz has been on the UNICEF NZ Board since May 2014 and has been in the role of Deputy Chair since May 2017. She has more than 25 years of marketing, fundraising and management experience in the corporate and NGO sectors in the UK, India,Canada, and New Zealand.
Liz was the Chief Executive Officer of Save the Children New Zealand from 2009 to2012. From January 2013 to December 2016, Liz was Chief Executive of Philanthropy New Zealand, the peak body for those active and interested in generosity. She is now the Head of Foundation for the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, a position she has held since the end of 2016.
Liz has held senior management roles at the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society. She currently is a Trustee of Mediaworks Foundation, Perpetual Guardian Foundation, and a consultant with the Direct Impact Group in New Zealand.
Liz brings international development sector experience, fundraising acumen and sound governance practice to the UNICEF NZ Board.
