A Year 10 Social Studies Unit on children affected by conflict.

Using a social inquiry approach this unit looks at how people seek and define child rights in conflict. Each lesson is set out with an aim, activities, curriculum links and supporting resources. It covers the complexities involved in helping children during a conflict situation, how war impacts on people's lives, and what children who live through conflict think about their situation. An accompanying CD features quality photos and video clips. Written for the new curriculum.
