We enter into partnerships with organisations, corporates and individuals who share our vision, and whose principles show a commitment to our values. These partnerships are essential, because the challenges before us are too great to solve alone and we cannot succeed if we work in isolation. When we say 'UNICEF did this,' we always mean that we have done it together with others.
Internationally UNICEF works with a wide range of partners including governments, non-governmental organisations, sporting bodies, corporates, and young people. Empowering people to manage for themselves is a significant part of what UNICEF does. Through these partnerships, we share our global knowledge and experiences to help others find local solutions.
UNICEF New Zealand has mutually beneficial partnerships with ambassadors, corporates, service organisations, sports organisations and the New Zealand Government in order to help meet the basic needs of children world-wide.
These partnerships are on a national or international level depending on the agreement reached. Partnerships can take the form of cause-related marketing, corporate donations, advocacy, employee, organisational or individual fundraising, project support, special events, sponsoring our communications and in-kind giving.
The Business Community
UNICEF's partnerships with the business community are absolutely vital to our work for children around the world.
