Unite for Mothers

Almost every minute of every day, a baby is born with HIV, passed on by their mother during pregnancy, labour or delivery. Unite for Mothers is a campaign to prevent pregnant mothers from passing HIV on to their children.

Unite for Mothers this year saw hundreds of New Zealanders from all over the country take part in a nationwide stitch-a-thon to knit and crochet a ‘giant baby blanket’ made up of over 2,800 peggy squares!
