All UNICEF-supported activities are guided by and aim at realising the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCROC) and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). Our work is diverse and includes maternal and child health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, water and sanitation, education, gender equality and child protection.
