SubscribeConcert Set to Celebrate Wellington’s Cultural Diversity
This Saturday (17 September) will see an exciting celebration of Wellington’s diversity with a full day concert showcasing performances from many cultures including Thai dancing, African drumming and Chinese lion dancing. The Multi-Cultural Concert: Treasuring Diversity will take place from 10am-3pm at Wellington Town Hall. Organised by The Multi-Cultural Council of Wellington in conjunction with the Festivale of Carnivale, the concert aims to add some ethnic flair to the festivities surrounding the World Cup. It aims to celebrate the cultural diversity inherent in New Zealand and showcase it to Wellington residents and the many visitors in the region from around the world.
