Haiti Earthquake Resource, Yr 7 & 8

 $10.00

A Year 7 & 8 resource based on Unicef's response to the 2010 Haiti Earthquake, 36 pages with DVD.

Through this unit UNICEF hopes to explain to students the nature of humanitarian emergencies and their effects on communities in developing countries, and how agencies work together to provide relief.

The unit links directly to the new curriculum in helping students to better understand some of the challenges facing others in the world and to consider their responsibilities as global citizens in response to those challenges. Social Sciences are about how societies work and how people can participate as critical, active, informed and responsible citizens.

A $5 delivery charge to cover postage and packaging will be applied to every order.
