We advocate for children

UNICEF carries out a range of activities to advocate for children in this country. We bring children's issues to the attention of politicians and the public, we lobby for improvements to child rights laws, and we advocate for change.

Sadly, violence is an all too common occurrence in New Zealand homes and children are often the direct or indirect targets. We help to give children a voice to create safe, enabling environments for them to be raised in.
